Full Circle Moments

I am on day three of what has been one of the most transformative experiences of my adult life. I have found closure, clarity and purpose and I  have also found something I wasn't expecting. I have found community.

Coming to Nashville was very much a "well it can't be worse than it was" situation for me. There was a lot of trauma and uncertainty related to this trip and I wasn't quite sure if something would trigger me and cause anxiety or if I would just be miserable the entire time. Turns out the 18 years of therapy healing and self actualization did the trick and I have reclaimed the city I once loved and I am doing so surrounded by swarms of amazing, creative and inspiring moms.

On the second day there I  marched down Broadway to a tattoo parlor and I got something I have wanted for a while a small tattoo on my right forearm that simply says.." Let them..." I know might not make sense so bear with me, these are more than just two simple words.

Personal development guru Mel Robbins brought this theory to light and it is simply that is someone doesn't want to be with you or for you... let them. If people choose to not see your worth and to challenge your sense of self... let them. Let them and keep going, be your own self and be your best self. Here's the episode of her podcast where she talks about that

After I got the tattoo I went back to the hotel, met up with my cousin who was down there for the day working on her own business and then reunited with the ladies I had "ditched" to go get my ink. We collected out thoughts for a moment and then went back on down the honky tonk highway and found ourselves in a crowded bar listening to amazing music and sharing an awesome collective experience in a place where I needed to create new memories of my own.

The main take away from this weekend was that I will never underestimate the power of women collectively trying to heal and create an impact on the world. This will be the last post where I ramble about this trip but I want to leave you with an idea of whats to come!

I want to use this space to share my motherhood experiences, the good the bad and the WTF so I will be doing that and sharing products, places and people I love, that help me along the way.

Thanks for coming back to Nashville with me and if you're ready to take on your own full circle moments hit me up and we can chat!

Peace out

Molly
